If I would like to help out by adding more periodical entries like that of the Green Man magazine, what is the proper way to do that so I don't inadvertently mess something up on the site?

On the left menu, do I go to: Create Content --> Page or Book Page, or
On the top menu, select Periodicals, click edit, and fill out the tab for Periodicals?

I would expect you would have to look over and approve any changes or additions, correct? That's fine by me! :)
